From his first races to competing in GT4 with the Ford Performance Junior Team, Nathan Vanspringel continues to push his limits on some of Europe’s most iconic circuits. Driven by passion, discipline, and ambition, every race is part of a journey focused on constant progression.

Nathan’s journey in motorsport began with karting, where passion quickly became a way of life. From countless laps at Karting des Fagnes to competing in iconic endurance events such as the 500 Miles of Mariembourg and the RACB 24 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps karting race, he spent years developing his skills and racing mindset. Those early experiences built the foundations of the driver he is today.

Nathan’s transition from karting to touring car racing came in 2019 with the Ford Fiesta Sprint Cup. At just 17 years old, he quickly made a name for himself by securing multiple podiums and earning the RACB Rookie of the Year title. Over the following seasons, he continued to progress within the Ford ecosystem, eventually becoming Junior Champion and overall Fiesta Sprint Cup Champion in 2021. These years marked an important turning point in his career, shaping his racing style and preparing him for endurance racing and GT competition.

In 2022 and 2023, Nathan took the next step in his career by entering the world of endurance racing with VDS Racing Adventures and the powerful MARC Focus V8. Competing in demanding long-distance events alongside Raphaël van der Straten, he quickly proved his pace and consistency, earning multiple podiums and claiming victory at the 24 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps Creventic race. These seasons marked a major evolution in his development as a driver, combining raw speed with endurance and race management.

In 2024, Nathan entered a new chapter in his career by joining TeamFloral/Vanspringel in the GT4 European Series behind the wheel of the Ford Mustang GT4. Competing on legendary circuits such as Spa-Francorchamps, Monza, and Hockenheim alongside Nico Verdonck, he continued to develop at the highest level of GT racing while representing the Ford brand across Europe.

In 2025, Nathan reached a major milestone in his career by officially joining the Ford Performance Junior Team. Continuing his journey in the GT4 European Series with TeamFloral and the Ford Mustang GT4, he stepped into a new level of international competition and driver development. Representing Ford Performance across Europe, this new chapter reflects years of dedication, progression, and passion for motorsport, from karting circuits to some of the most prestigious GT championships in the world.

In 2026, Nathan entered another exciting chapter in his career by joining the British team Academy Motorsport for the GT4 European Series. Remaining part of the Ford Junior Driver program, he continues his journey behind the wheel of the Ford Mustang GT4, this time alongside American teammate Erik Evans. Competing with one of the championship’s strongest teams marks another important step in Nathan’s evolution at the European GT level.
